The Corwen Giant
Come and wake the giant
In the historical town of Corwen lies the sleeping form of Drewyn the giant. He last walked through the valley on 23rd March 2019, having visited his sweetheart the milkmaid who we believe lives on Caer Drewyn Hillfort. Having left a series of footprints in nearby fields he then lay back down to sleep. Who knows when he may walk again?
Did You Know?
There are lots of shops and eateries around Corwen to enjoy during your visit.
In the spring and summer his slumbering outline will be marked by wild flowers. The best place to see him is by following the trail from the town through the beautiful Coed Pen y Pigyn until you reach the breath-taking view point, it is well worth the climb. Look out for the objects Drewyn dropped during his last walk, can you find them all?
