Community Transport
Community Transport
The Clwydian Range and Dee Valley National Landscape have funding to assist groups, who would not otherwise be able to, visit the countryside on their doorstep. It could be a trip to explore Moel Famau, Loggerheads or Ty Mawr Country Park. It could be a visit to the spectacular Horseshoe Pass, to take a walk around Corwen or along the Offa’s Dyke National Trail. It could be a visit to one of the fabulous historical sites which are found the full length of the NL.
We are able to offer 50% of the costs of vehicle hire or public transport up to a maximum of £250.
Who is able to apply for funding?
This funding is available to any formal groups who don’t own their own transport – this could be a club, community group, school etc….. All the group need is a desire to visit the National Landscape.
- Groups or individuals must be based in Wales.
- Only trips entirely within the National Landscape can be funded.
- We are unable to fund trips or events which have already been included in a programme of events.
