As part of the Welsh Dark Sky Week 2025, join local astronomy enthusiast Rob Jones for an evening of stargazing at the Horseshoe Falls. Explore the secrets and science of the night sky, learn how to identify constellations and discover Welsh stories.

What to bring?

  • Torch with red light function,
  • Blanket
  • Camping chair or mat
  • Flask and snacks
  • wear sensible shoes and warm clothing.

Suitable for all ages.

This is a FREE event but booking is essential through this eventbrite link.

Please be advised that filming and/or photography will be taking place during the event. If you do not wish to appear in any images captured please make the organisers aware before the event.
The photographs/film will be used by the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley AONB for use in literature and promotional items and may also be published on the AONB’s website.
