Planning a Visit
The Clwydian Range and Dee Valley AONB is situated in North East Wales. Its proximity to the English border and the north west of England makes it an accessible place to see some of the finest countryside in Britain.
The A55 expressway runs through the north of the AONB, with the M62, M53 and M56 bringing you from the north. If you are coming from the south, the A5 and M56 will lead you into the heart of the AONB. Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham are less than 2 hours away, and even a trip from London or Glasgow are straight-forward and easily done in half a day.
